We wish to provide our members with a clear update following the recent protest that took place in the Township on October 10, 2025. As many of you are aware, the Tiny Township Residents’ Alliance is committed to respectful dialogue, fact-based information, and constructive engagement with our community. With that in mind, we feel it is important to address what has occurred and the steps we have taken since.
First, we want to emphasize that TinyTRA does not support or endorse any aggressive, confrontational, or destructive behaviour of any kind. Our role in communication about the protest was limited to informing residents that the event was taking place and why.
Given concerns raised by residents about incidents that occurred during the protest, we have proactively reached out to the Ontario Provincial Police to request an update on the status of any investigation related to these events. At this time, we have not yet received a response. If we receive any updates, we will share them with our membership.
Our commitment remains the same:
To advocate for transparency and accountability in local decision-making
To keep residents informed with accurate, timely information.
To promote respectful and responsible community engagement
Thank you to all our members for continuing to support a positive, constructive approach to local issues. If you have questions or information you would like to share, please reach out to us.
