In the lead-up to the federal election, TinyTRA sat down with each of the candidates running to represent Simcoe North in Parliament (NDP candidate Melissa Lloyd was invited but unable to attend). This year, instead of a debate-style format, we’ve taken a different approach — offering each candidate roughly 30 minutes in a one-on-one conversation with topics drawn from questions from the TinyTRA membership.
You’ll hear directly from Ryan Rocca (Liberal Party of Canada), Stephen Makk (People's Party of Canada), Ray Little (Green Party of Canada), Russ Emo (Christian Heritage Party), and incumbent MP Adam Chambers (Conservative Party of Canada) — presented here in reverse alphabetical order.
Our focus was on topics, not soundbites. We encouraged candidates to speak at length about the issues they care about and how they envision the future of our region and our country.
We hope you’ll take the time to listen and reflect. These videos are presented without commentary, in keeping with TinyTRA’s non-partisan commitment to fostering a well-informed electorate — because democracy works best when voters are empowered with knowledge.
Election Day is Monday, April 28th
